AGNES/NANCY SNODDY (1763 - 1855)

AGNES/NANCY SNODDY was born April 06, 1763 in Rowan Co, NC, and died September 14, 1855 in Bloomington, Monroe Co, IN.  She married MOSES HALL October 21, 1788 in Iredell Co, NC, son of WILLIAM HALL and ELIZABETH ?.  He was born May 29, 1760 in Rowan Co, NC, and died April 10, 1846 in Monroe Co, IN.

Agnes/Nancy is buried in the Richland Cemetery in Monroe Co, Indiana.  In her application for a widow's pension, she mentions that her marriage was "solemnized by Andrew Caldwell, Justice of the Peace, Rowan County, NC.

Moses Hall is buried in the Richland Cemetery, Monroe County, Indiana.  In his request for a Revolutionary War Pension, he mentions that he has two brothers, James and John Hall, living in Kentucky.

Roster of Soldiers and Patriots in the American Revolution buried in Indiana:  Moses Hall, Monroe County, service enlisted in 1780, served 18 months as teamster under Captain David Caldwell, in battle at Charlotte, served under Col.'s William Davidson, Francis Locke, and William Daire.  Proof of pension claim, W 10105.   (Information provided by Mrs. Stella Blakely King, Bloomington, Indiana.)
